Thank you for the guidance and for sharing the commands and details.
I appreciate you taking the time to explain how the Spotless and RAT checks were run successfully on Ubuntu.
I understand the vote has now concluded, so I’ll try reproducing this again (possibly using Linux/WSL) for learning purposes and future release validations.
Thanks again for your support and guidance — it’s very helpful as a new contributor.

I am a new contributor to Apache Fineract.
I attempted to validate the source release on Windows using Java 21.
The build progressed through compilation but failed due to:
- spotlessGroovyGradleCheck (formatting violations on Windows)
- Apache RAT check reporting one unapproved license
Thanks for checking and voting. My spotless check succeeded on Ubuntu 22 and I used this command:
./gradlew spotlessCheck
When I did a RAT check, I got this summary:
Notes: 2
Binaries: 18
Archives: 0
Standards: 6099
Apache Licensed: 6099
Generated Documents: 0
I used this command for the RAT check:
./gradlew rat
The above summary is from the file build/reports/rat/rat-report.txt
Hope this helps.

These appear to be tooling or environment-related issues rather than functional problems.
Please feel free to guide me if I am missing something or if this assessment is incorrect, as I am still learning the release validation process.
Thanks to the release manager and all contributors for their efforts on this release.
Best regards,
Monica

+1 (binding)
Verification steps completed:
1. Downloaded artifacts

4. Checked and verified LICENSE documents
I will perform a source build verification in the coming hours/days and
will update if any issues are found.
We're approaching the 72-hour soft deadline with this being our first
release using the Apache Release Audit Tool (ATR). I recognize it's the
holiday season, but I'd encourage all PMC members and committers to review
and vote when possible.
A few notes on voting:
PMC members: Binding votes (+1/-1)
Committers: Non-binding votes welcome and valued
Community members: Non-binding votes also welcome - your review helps
strengthen our releases
Even non-binding votes are important contributions that demonstrate the
participatory nature of the Apache Way and help validate our release
quality. Every review adds confidence to our release process.
