subversion and MS-Windows

I need to build subversion from source for MS-Windows.

I have downloaded all sources, can make new versions on FreeBSD systems using the 'normal' auto tools.
But I don't know where to start for the MS-Windows platform. (Using an MS-Windows XP
machine with MSVC++6) There is no documentation on the subject (not that I can find)
for building subversion from source, there is some on building an installation package.
Nor can I find a MSVC++ project of workspace that has enough information to start with.

Can someone tell me how he did it on his MS-Window machine? I would realy appreciate that!

Kind regards,

Andre Steenveld.

Look at the "Building the Latest Source under Windows" section of the
INSTALL file in the top of the subversion source tree.
