[jira] [Commented] (INFRA-5549) Migrate Flex codebase from svn to git.

OmPrakash Muppirala commented on INFRA-5549:
--------------------------------------------

David, flex-external.git looks good. You can make it read/write now.

What happens to the read only mirrors here: git://git.apache.org/flex-*.git

Will they be kept in sync with https://git-wip-us.apache.org/repos/asf/flex-*.git?

They seem to have gotten out of sync during the migration.

Thanks,
Om

> The Apache Flex community has voted and decided to move the primary source control for Flex from svn to git. Please create a git repo for flex and migrate the code to that.

> Please note that both git.apache.org/flex.git and https://github.com/apache/flex seem to be behind the svn repo. The github mirror is usually behind by several hours, while the apache git mirror is slow by a few minutes to a couple of hours.
