cleanup of /www/www.apache.org/dist/openejb/

Accidentally rejected this when i meant to accept it, so just
forwarding the moderation request.

Anyway, to address the actual email, I predict there's an automated
script that generated it and sent it out. Our very first release was
about 13 months ago, so the last 12 months of growth is going to look
large in comparison. Had planned to do the pruning next release, but
I've gone ahead and removed our oldest release now to keep the script
from setting off the fire alarm. :) Assuming it's a script that is :)

Wow, remarkable diligence.

I deleted beta-2, had thought it was nice to show some history but we
can do that with an updated download page. We should definitely keep
3.0 as some people may not want to upgrade to 3.1 as it jumps to
another EJB spec version which is not yet final. We definitely need
to update our download page. We're sort of still working out the
kinks in that regard.

David,

thanks for the cleanup ; and no, it was not a script, just me :-)
and if it was a script, the mail would says so.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't see a reason to keep
openejb 3.0-beta-2/ and 3.0/ on the mirrors. The openejb
download page only mentions openejb 3.1 (as far as I can
see). And if it did, changing the link to archive.a.o
   would be easy.

   I'm not saying you should remove openejb 3.0-beta-2/ and 3.0/ ;
I'm just curious about why you think these 'not current' versions
should be available on the mirrors as opposed to apache infra only.
