[Bug 4143] New: creation of directory .spamassasin and procmail log

http://bugzilla.spamassassin.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4143

Summary: creation of directory .spamassasin and procmail log
           Product: Spamassassin
           Version: 2.64
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P5
         Component: Packaging: RPM
        AssignedTo: dev@spamassassin.apache.org
        ReportedBy: ariellle@free.fr

HI,

I've two questions :

Firstly, i've installed spamassassin 2.64 on a red hat 9.0 , and i would like
to know how stopping the creation of the directory "$HOME/.spamassassin.

I don't want spamassasson to access the login directory (because mounted on
differents computers), so i put the "-x" options not to create the user pref
but the direcory is always created.

Secondly, i use procmail for local delivery, so i put a .promailrc in the login
directory (for testing before puting /etc/procmailrc), i want to create a
procmail.log file in /var/log, but it seems that the user receiving an email
muste have the writing permission on the log file, because there is an error
like "error while writing on procmail.log" .

Some help ?
