[GitHub] [buildstream] BuildStream-Migration-Bot opened a new issue #1384: SOURCE_DATE_EPOCH and the internal BST_ARBITRARY_TIMESTAMP don't agree
BuildStream-Migration-Bot opened a new issue #1384:
URL: https://github.com/apache/buildstream/issues/1384
[See original issue on GitLab](https://gitlab.com/BuildStream/buildstream/-/issues/1384)
In GitLab by [[Gitlab user @abderrahimk]](https://gitlab.com/abderrahimk) on Aug 12, 2020, 15:46
### Background
I just noticed this inconsistency in BuildStream where the `SOURCE_DATE_EPOCH` environment variable is set to `1320937200` or `2011-11-10 15:00:00` (`2011-11-11 00:00:00` Korea time I guess) and `BST_ARBITRARY_TIMESTAMP` is set to `2011-11-10 11:11:11`.
### Task description
It would be nice to have the same timestamp for both.
