Configuration
in repsonse to a c.i.w.s.unix posting, we should now drop these two
lines from the Configuration file..
# Optional modules for *full* NCSA compatibility --- we think these log
# files are a bad idea, but reasonable people seem to disagree:
and replace them with,
# Optional modules for agent and referer logging as implemented in the
# NCSA server.
-=-=-=
Whatever the objections were, they no longer have any relevance and
only serve to confuse.
I'd supply a patch but don't know which file to patch against.

Attached is my proposed fix for Configuration.tmpl, which contains
slightly better language than is there now, though it does recommend
config-logging.
