This weekend and 2.3

We have a nice little batch of fixes for a release. As you all know I like
RERO but I have no RM cycles ATM. There are more fixes needed based on the
JIRA traffic of course but nothing looks trivial to address from my POV.
Perhaps more meaty fixes could come after that.

I am OOT Thursday through Sunday, but if Ralph pushes a 2.3 RC I'll be able
to check it out Monday.
