[jira] [Created] (PARQUET-1043) [C++] Raise minimum supported CMake version to 3.2

Wes McKinney created PARQUET-1043:
-------------------------------------

Summary: [C++] Raise minimum supported CMake version to 3.2
                 Key: PARQUET-1043
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PARQUET-1043
             Project: Parquet
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: parquet-cpp
            Reporter: Wes McKinney
            Assignee: Wes McKinney
             Fix For: cpp-1.2.0

We had discussed this previously and decided to stick with 2.8.x support. This is causing us to accumulate quite a bit of cruft in our build system. While Ubuntu 14.04 LTS ships CMake 2.8 by default, there are many other ways to obtain a newer CMake
