Samples: Error entering the DeploymentDescriptor....

Pardon the clueless question here.

1) I've added the xerces.jar and soap.jar to the front of my tomcat 
classpath.

I now would like to try to run the SOAP samples (Stock quote)

I tried to run the command line, and get the following error:

C:\Program Files\Apache Group\tomcat>java 
org.apache.soap.server.ServiceManagerClient 
http://localhost:8080/soap/servlet/rpcrouter deploy 
c:\j2ee\soap-bin-2.0\soap-2_0\samples\stockquote\DeploymentDescriptor.xml

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoSuchMethodError
at 
org.apache.soap.server.DeploymentDescriptor.fromXML(DeploymentDescriptor.java:282)
at 
org.apache.soap.server.ServiceManagerClient.main(ServiceManagerClient.java:188)
