Apparently my Apache instance isn't happy with serving out JAR files. I tested this yesterday before posting my comment, but now it's clearly verboten. I'm not sure why that is.
http://www.scarybaldcomputing.org/files/xyz.zip is a copy that is simply renamed as a ZIP but is still a jar.
I guess I'll have to actually turn up logging and solve the problem of jars being forbidden when other types don't seem to be.

Sorry. I'm an idiot. Someone else connected to verify that you could reach the url from the outside, and apparently they were ALSO logged in or some such nonsense, so I thought it'd be accessible from the real world.
