Previously Dark LaF support was a separate user installable module. As that it was a kind of good experience that after the manual installation the user interface was automatically switched to a Dark LaF.

Our Dark Nimbus and Dark Metal is a bit dated, so it would not necessary provide the right user experience to start the IDE with Dark interface.
