How to use EXPLAIN in a grunt shell using a parameter file?

Hello all,

is there a way to specify a parameter file when executing EXPLAIN in a grunt shell?

I tried with bin/pig -x local -m propertyfile -e 'explain -script explain.pig' but properties file is not used resulting in "undefined parameter" error.
