Are we ready to release Kvrocks 2.1.0?
Hi All,
It's been half a year since the last release(2.0.6) and we also made many
enhancements and bug fixes.
So I think it should be time to release the next one which I proposed
version 2.1.0. I have uploaded KEYS
and source assets to the dev repo[1]
Does it make sense to you?

I think this is a good point, maybe we can cherry-pick release commits to
the 2.0 branch
and create the release tag on the 2.0 branch. HDYT？

why not a new branch, if only tag, it is not easy to maintain the new
version, we could apply bugfix to the branch if the version has bugs.
or we just maintain one new version, don't apply bugfix to the released
version before?

Thanks for preparing the release!
Quick feedback - A release candidate should be able to promote as a
release, so you don't have to name the directory and the artifacts with
-rc1. Instead, you should use 2.1.0 barely. Besides, as PR#729[1]
described, the name of tarball should be in form
apache-kvrocks-incubating-2.1.0-incubating.tar.gz.
You can start a formal [VOTE] thread and let's collect feedback in a formal
voting thread.
