 srm.conf has DocumentRoot as  /home/httpd/html

 Same error for your attempt and mine:
 "[Date/Time] access to /home/httpd/html/local/adlfkjad failed for
 209.69.34.141, reason: File does not exist"
 
 Your attempt left a domain name in the log.
