[jira] [Commented] (HDT-20) Excessive number of jars added to MapReduce project classpath

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HDT-20?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13614556#comment-13614556 ]

Adam Berry commented on HDT-20:
-------------------------------

Fixed in commit 149f0cdc23844ae32fd4b9c3bb876d1f2fd85845, right now only hadoop-core is added.

This is something that will need further work when we work out versioning connectors for hadoop installs, to make sure that the appropriate thing is added to the classpath from the layout. The other thing that could be considered is using maven to grab these dependencies, maybe some m2eclipse connector to optionally support this.

> After all of the hadoop-core dependencies were added, all of those jars are now added to the bundle classpath, only really hadoop-core needs to be.
