[users@httpd] Please Help - apxs:Error: Command failed with rc=65536
Hi,
I'm having some real problems trying to build mod_auth_sim. I've managed to
build and install it on my own machine but when I try to build on my server I
get the following :
sys1:/cp/misc/src/mod_auth_sim-0.0.1# /opt/httpd/bin/apxs -ci
-L/cp/apps/mysql-ssl/lib/mysql -I/cp/apps/mysql-ssl/include/mysql
-lmysqlclient -lm -lz mod_auth_sim.c
/opt/httpd/build/libtool --silent --mode=compile gcc -prefer-pic
-DAP_HAVE_DESIGNATED_INITIALIZER -DLINUX=2 -D_REENTRANT -D_XOPEN_SOURCE=500
-D_BSD_SOURCE -D_SVID_SOURCE -D_GNU_SOURCE -g -O2 -pthread
-I/opt/httpd/include -I/opt/httpd/include -I/opt/httpd/include
-I/cp/apps/mysql-ssl/include/mysql -c -o mod_auth_sim.lo mod_auth_sim.c &&
touch mod_auth_sim.slo
mod_auth_sim.c: In function `sim_authenticate_id':
mod_auth_sim.c:461: parse error before `exire_now'
mod_auth_sim.c:463: `exire_now' undeclared (first use in this function)
mod_auth_sim.c:463: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
mod_auth_sim.c:463: for each function it appears in.)
mod_auth_sim.c: In function `sim_authenticate_session_id':
mod_auth_sim.c:628: parse error before `*'
mod_auth_sim.c:636: `sec' undeclared (first use in this function)
mod_auth_sim.c:676: parse error before `char'
mod_auth_sim.c:677: `start_cookie' undeclared (first use in this function)
mod_auth_sim.c:681: `end_cookie' undeclared (first use in this function)
mod_auth_sim.c:687: parse error before `char'
mod_auth_sim.c:688: `start_cookie2' undeclared (first use in this function)
mod_auth_sim.c:692: `end_cookie2' undeclared (first use in this function)
apxs:Error: Command failed with rc=65536
This is the line of code it seems to first get upset about :
apr_time_t exire_now = apr_time_from_sec(track_expired);
(I know expire is spelt wrong but it's like that all through the code so
should be ok)
My httpd is :
Server version: Apache/2.0.49
Server built: May 20 2004 14:45:36
Server's Module Magic Number: 20020903:7
Architecture: 32-bit
Server compiled with....
-D APACHE_MPM_DIR="server/mpm/prefork"
-D APR_HAS_SENDFILE
-D APR_HAS_MMAP
-D APR_HAVE_IPV6 (IPv4-mapped addresses enabled)
-D APR_USE_SYSVSEM_SERIALIZE
-D APR_USE_PTHREAD_SERIALIZE
-D SINGLE_LISTEN_UNSERIALIZED_ACCEPT
-D APR_HAS_OTHER_CHILD
-D AP_HAVE_RELIABLE_PIPED_LOGS
-D HTTPD_ROOT="/cp/apps/httpd"
-D SUEXEC_BIN="/cp/apps/httpd/bin/suexec"
-D DEFAULT_PIDLOG="logs/httpd.pid"
-D DEFAULT_SCOREBOARD="logs/apache_runtime_status"
-D DEFAULT_LOCKFILE="logs/accept.lock"
-D DEFAULT_ERRORLOG="logs/error_log"
-D AP_TYPES_CONFIG_FILE="conf/mime.types"
-D SERVER_CONFIG_FILE="conf/httpd.conf"
The server is running debian 3. The main difference I can see is gcc. My home
machine has 3.2 and the server has 2.95.4. I would like to avoid upgrading at
the moment so if anyone has ideas I could really use some help. I've searched
around on google and found lots of people getting the "apxs:Error: Command
failed with rc=65536" error while compiling various modules, I'm yet to find
even a hint of a solution.
Thanks,
Ewan.
