[jira] [Created] (HDDS-5683) Container scrubber should be able to 'resume' from the last container on DN restart

Aswin Shakil Balasubramanian created HDDS-5683:
--------------------------------------------------

Summary: Container scrubber should be able to 'resume' from the last container on DN restart
                 Key: HDDS-5683
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HDDS-5683
             Project: Apache Ozone
          Issue Type: Improvement
            Reporter: Aswin Shakil Balasubramanian
            Assignee: Aswin Shakil Balasubramanian

On clusters with a lot of closed containers, a datanode restart will essentially reset the container scrubber if running. It would be good to have a simple state saving mechanism in the scrubber that helps it 'resume' from last container it finished before the shutdown.
