It is unclear what portions of the original "auth" feature still works, and what, if any, of the ACL (filter.config) still is functional. For now, it's all considered disabled, and not supported.

Depending on what actually works, we might move some of this bug out to 2.4 or even 3.0. In an ideal world, things like "auth" and "acl" would be reimplemented as TS plugin(s).
