VOTE: Move to GIT

Following up on the old DISCUSSION thread on moving to git [1], lets vote
(INFRA needs to see a vote).

Move to GIT?

[  ] +1 on yes, lets move to GIT
[  ] 0 on don't care
[  ] -1 on stay w/ current SVN setup.

I'm +1.
