[jira] [Commented] (PDFBOX-4704) Caused by: java.io.IOException: expected='endstream' actual='' at offset 166140

Tilman Hausherr commented on PDFBOX-4704:
-----------------------------------------

Please retry with the latest PDFBox version, which is 2.0.17. If you insist on using 1.8, then use 1.8.16. In 1.8, use loadNonSeq() instead of load(). If you still aren't successful, please attach your PDF.

I assume that with "if I re-saved the file in my machine and again tried and it works fine" you mean you open it with Adobe Reader and resave? Yes, Adobe can correct corrupt PDFs sometimes. (We can too, but more in the 2.0 version)
