[jira] [Commented] (SPARK-18692) Test Java 8 unidoc build on Jenkins master builder

Josh Rosen commented on SPARK-18692:

+1; this would be great to have. I believe that this may get caught today by the nightly doc snapshot builds, but I don't know whether we're doing a good job of monitoring their pass rates. Maybe we could run the doc builder more frequently and set up some status monitoring and that would meet most of the needs here?

> [SPARK-3359] fixed the unidoc build for Java 8, but it is easy to break. It would be great to add this build to the Spark master builder on Jenkins to make it easier to identify PRs which break doc builds.
