This problem below solved by downloading all the source for the Windows
and copy missing folder across ??
==========================================
After SVN and populate source and fetch-depends
You get this error building classes
The problem is that the STANDARD folder is not there????

Re: The Problem 7
Posted by Johnny Kewl <jo...@kewlstuff.co.za>.
No found it... it does exist.... found it in the class build file
<property name="hy.hdk" location="deploy" />
So wonder why the compiler is not picking up the properties
Probably because I have to use VS2005, VS2003 is no longer on the MS site
The ant settings dont seem to be feeding back into the mak files...
... ok... I stop posting now... noteworthy is that the barrier to entry for
someone trying
to get into this project is high... no entry sign ;)

The Problem 7
Posted by Johnny Kewl <jo...@kewlstuff.co.za>.
===================================
Guys the mak files are pointing at
!include <$(HY_HDK)\build\make\defines.mak>
That folder does not exist!
What is happening is the MS compiler is just defaulting to ancient
history...
This project has not been compiled on windows for a long long time...
Ouch!

Re: Build Problem 6
Posted by Johnny Kewl <jo...@kewlstuff.co.za>.
==================================
Just realized what the big problem is.... I was thinking about it and this
software would have to be
older than my wife... thats ancient history ;)
Look at the line below... where do I tell the ant script to UP that windows
version...
NT 4 is too old for the functions called....
IPPROTO_IPV6 needs _WIN32_WINNT >= 0x0501
The stuff in the common_vm.xml
ie this
<defineset if="is.windows">
<define name="PLATFORM_NT" />
<define name="WIN32" />
<define name="_WINDOWS" />
<define name="_WIN32_WINNT" value="0x0501" />
</defineset>
is not getting thru to the compiler...

change
sprintf to wsprintf
