package ear file with expanded war

hi all,

at the moment i came across this problem with weblogic... it seems
that when i package an ear file with a war inside, the weblogic server
doesn't seem to expand the war file after expanding the ear file.

is there a way in maven 2 for the package of ear to included the
expanded version of the war file instead?
