  1. Validate the signature
  
- See [[http://www.apache.org/dev/release-signing.html#verifying-signature|the Apache release signing guide]] - you'll need to import the [[http://www.apache.org/dist/incubator/jclouds/KEYS|KEYS file]] for jclouds, or the signer's key from [[http://people.apache.org/committers.html|people.apache.org]] before doing this. Check each tar.gz and .asc file in the release.
