[jira] [Created] (NIFI-5992) Add ability to set JVM Heap sizes via
ENV vars when using Docker
Craig Davidson created NIFI-5992:
------------------------------------
Summary: Add ability to set JVM Heap sizes via ENV vars when using Docker
Key: NIFI-5992
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-5992
Project: Apache NiFi
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: Docker
Affects Versions: 1.8.0
Reporter: Craig Davidson
When running using the docker image the JVM heap settings are 512MB and requires a change to the bootstrap.conf file.
There are a number of ENV vars used as present to update properties in the nifi.properties and nifi-cli.nifi.properties.
Requesting a minor amendment to allow the java.arg.2 and java.arg.3 to be configurable in a similar fashion using the ENV vars NIFI_JVM_HEAP_INIT and NIFI_JVM_HEAP_MAX.
I have a PR ready to submit for consideration.
