Thanks for these tests. I assume these work for you on linux? For me they all result in an IllegalAccessException.
Not a show stopper, but at some point we also need to move the images to the resources tree and if possible use GetResourceAsStream to find them ... so that we can put them in a jar in the hdk for testing. But this can wait until we get them working.

Mark, I checked the tests on SLES 9 machine and they passed. Could you, please, give me more info (e.g. stack trace for the exceptions)?

That was the other thing that was bothering me! There was no stack trace in the junit report just:
java.lang.IllegalAccessException
I'll take another look and see if I can get some more information.
