open office issues

When I try to use Openoffice on my Mac Pro, it keeps telling me: 

The application “OpenOffice” unexpectedly quit while trying to restore its windows.  Do you want to try to restore its windows again?

It asks if I want to Restore Windows or Don't Restore Windows, but does not do anything when i click on one of the tabs.

Please help.
