My new setup since the defaultfiredcs pub did not worked at all:

- firedocs 1.3.6
- https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/lenya/branches/BRANCH_2_1_X (r937624)
- https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/lenya/contributions/2_0_X/modules (r942075)

I applied the patch.

The current situation is everything starts up fine then I create a firedocs document. Then I try to edit the document but the edit link is: firedocs://

and that was it. :(

I tried our documentation because I thought that I once edited with firedocs there, but I may confuse that.

I committed the patches 1h ago, did a new setup using the
defaultfiredocs pub and it works.
I'll try to fix the bug.

What Version of firefox are you using ?

On a mac. I'll try it on windows.

No, I used the defaultfiredocs pub, but I have a simple publication
that seems to work with the new firedocs version.

Yes, that's no problem.

Yes.

Yeah, but IMO we should as well fix this bug. I am not sure why you can import and edit the content with firedocs and I am not. :(

Are you on linux or mac?

However the lucene stuff I see as well if you have a look into the log.

Have you tried:
- add the firedocs modules to the default pub
- create a new firedocs-xhtml doc

Can you edit the doc? I mean with edit-edit with firedocs?

Re: Firedocs pub

Posted by Rudolf Korhummel <ru...@korhummel.de>.
Hi Thorsten, hi all,

I did a new checkout of the 2.1 branch and the contributions area,
applied the patches, included the module and pub path of the
contributions in local.build.properties.

After I imported the example content everything works fine.
If I start with a new page I get an error. I think this is because the
search page is missing.

I use firefox 3.6.3 and firedocs 1.3.6

Should I commit the patches even if starting with a new page isn't
working ?

WDYT

I did a new setup of the 2.1 branch and used my existing contributions

Re: Firedocs pub

Posted by Rudolf Korhummel <ru...@korhummel.de>.
Hi Thorsten,

I've just tried it and it seems to work if I import the example content.
When I start with an empty page I get a sitemap error.

I applied the 3 patches that Thomas provided at https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=48978
For firedocs-module.diff you have to use the ..../modules directory
instead of .../modules/firedocs.
Then I downloaded and installed firedocs 1.3.6 from www.firedocs.org.
