Bean.class

HI,
What is the use soap/util/Bean.class. 
Whenever we make rpc call to soap server , Object
of this class will be in SOAP:Body entries. Does anybody know whats the use of this. What happens when the soap message is written to wire. ? Basically bean class holds the class type and actual object as its member variables....? Any pros here with deeper knowledge on Bean.class help me........?
