Click the "Show the logging console" button in the upper right. The console slides out very slowly. I believe having to wait so many hundreds of milliseconds for the console to show is distracting.

Suggestions:
animate it faster,
use snappier easing curve,
have it appear at 80% out and animate the last 20% of the trajectory, like Android keyboard does it.
