The hive code is polling for the status to be "RUNNING" and then prints the total task counts for all the vertices. Sometimes that will return zeros for all of the tasks:

Map 1:       0 tasks	Map 3:       0 tasks	Reducer 2:       0 tasks	Reducer 4:       0 tasks	Reducer 5:       0 tasks
