[jira] Commented: (MRM-913) Ability to delete an artifact from the web interface

John Wu commented on MRM-913:
-----------------------------

Even if one can delete the artifact from the repo as the admin, it still shows up in the GUI, even after restarting the Archiva. I'm guessing that the index needs to be updated as well. But I just couldn't figure out an easy way to update the index.

I think this is a (highly) required feature since there're a number of cases where we need to remove artifact(s).

> Sometimes when viewing an artifact through the Archiva Web UI, I'd like to delete it from the repository.
> Currently the only way to do this by deleting it from the managed repository filesystem.
