Exception when killing Tomcat
Hi all,
Occasionally when trying to terminate Tomcat (in Windows)
using the provided shutdown batch file, I get the following exception:
java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: no further
information
at java.net.PlainSocketImpl.socketConnect(Native Method)
at
java.net.PlainSocketImpl.doConnect(PlainSocketImpl.java:312)
at

at
org.apache.tomcat.startup.Tomcat.execute(Tomcat.java:130)
at org.apache.tomcat.startup.Tomcat.main(Tomcat.java:163)
and then there seems to be no way of shutting down the server
without forcing the DOS window that it's running in to close (CTRL-
C doesn't work either). Tomcat just seems to stop responding, it
won't serve any pages at all. It just seems to hang.
Can someone help?
Raj.
