Is Tomcat small when embedded?

Hi, I have the following questions concering my attempt to use Tomcat as
an embedded servlet server:

1. Can Tomcat be easily used as an embedded servlet server?

2. Does Tomcat have an easy way of serving static content, stored in a jar
file?

3. If I don't need any fency feutures for my purposes, how small can I
make Tomcat as an embedded server?
