[jira] [Created] (IMPALA-7875) Make Date a supported type
Gabor Kaszab created IMPALA-7875:
------------------------------------
Summary: Make Date a supported type
Key: IMPALA-7875
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/IMPALA-7875
Project: IMPALA
Issue Type: Sub-task
Affects Versions: Impala 3.2.0
Reporter: Gabor Kaszab
Assignee: Gabor Kaszab
Currently Date is listed as an unsupported type. Making it supported would be a common step for multiple Sub-tasks under the "Implement Date type" parent task hence I'm moving this to a separate Jira.
Apparently, once adding Date to the supported types list further adjustments are required to 1) make Impala build 2) be able to launch cluster.
