Current dir

I am having problems with
template files when I deploy
servlet class files on the
Apache running on unix.
when I check the "user.dir"
I get "/" which is the root
instead of the path that holds
the class file.

Is it possible to get around
this, it works fine when I am
running the servlet on the PC
inside of Jdeveloper.

best regards, BHM

The problem isn't entirely clear to me - a bit of information that will
help :

1) What servlet engine and version. Tomcat?

2) what do you do to check "user.dir"?
