[Bug 66082] New: Need to know how to pass a 'path' with server name in HTTP Request Defaults

https://bz.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=66082

            Bug ID: 66082
Summary: Need to know how to pass a 'path' with server name in
                    HTTP Request Defaults
           Product: JMeter
           Version: 5.4.1
          Hardware: PC
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: HTTP
          Assignee: issues@jmeter.apache.org
          Reporter: avinash.singh@metapraxis.com
  Target Milestone: JMETER_5.5

I have to pass the path in HTTPS Request Defaults
eg., https://example.com/abc
as I have a lot of requests. I also want to parameterize it and pass different
values for path - 'def' instead of 'abc'. It's not working via HTTPS Request
Defaults when I am setting the path as 'abc' along with server name. Can you
guide me please on how can we achieve this? I dont want to pass the path via an
individual HTTP request.
