Docs for snapshots on m1 site

Hi,

I just noted another risk arising from the rebuild of the maven 1 site
with our new theme: the individual plugin sites are those for the
current SNAPSHOTs, many of which contain docs on features not yet
present in published versions of the plugins (eg xdoc). Some even
contain information about current work in progress that may change until
the next release (eg pom).

The only hint that the site docs refer to a snapshot is the 'Doc for
xx-SNAPSHOT' in the menu bar, which is now hidden on the bottom of each
page.

So I'm just wondering if people think this might become a problem and
whether we should do something about it (apart from getting the plugins
published ASAP).

Cheers,
Lukas

I'll also publish this week (certainly before wednesday) all the SNAPSHOTs to allow users to install them.

I'll launch a thread to define new release managers for plugins and we'll try to release them ASAP.

Discussed this with Arnaud and I didn't think it was of a great
consequence. The indication I got was that much of the documentation was
new but relevant to plugins already present.

Another option is to check out the last release for such plugins, but
personally I don't think this is a big problem. Actually, I think that
features that are added should declare WHEN they were added so that when
a version is released, the old plugins are instantly redundant. This
will also assist us in building the feature list for comparing m1 and m2
functionality.

Cheers,
Brett
