Tomcat -- startup question
Hi:
Anyone know why do I get this error during startup?
D:\Tomcat 4.1\bin>catalina run
Press any key to continue . . .
"... from setclasspath.bat ..."
Using CATALINA_BASE: D:\Tomcat 4.1\
Using CATALINA_HOME: D:\Tomcat 4.1\
Using CATALINA_TMPDIR: D:\Tomcat 4.1\\temp
Using JAVA_HOME: d:\jdk1.4
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: 4/1"
Press any key to continue . . .
"... from catalina.bat ..."

Re: Tomcat -- startup question
Posted by Jean-Francois Arcand <jf...@apache.org>.
Avoid putting space in the installation folder or define catalina home
using quote.
Use D:\Tomcat4.1 instead (less pain)
