maven-archetype-webapp sources ?

Hi !
  
  Sorry, this a newbie question.. I'm looking for the source code of the  maven-archetype-webapp archetype used in the example given in the maven  guide, i've looked on :
  http://www.ibiblio.org/maven2/org/apache/maven/archetypes/maven-archetype-webapp/
  but i cant find the archetype.xml file and the original file structure.
  
  I need the source as an example to create my own archetype but maybe  you could help me.. My problem is that i dont manage to get the right  directory structure for my project from my custom archetype :
  I would like WEB-INF\web.xml to be at the root of my project, but when  i create my project it is always inside the "classes" directory and i  get this error at packaging :
  
  [INFO] Error assembling WAR
  
  Embedded error: Deployment descriptor: C:\maven-2.0.2\projects\WebCalc1\target\WebCalc1-1.0\WEB-INF\web.xml does not exist.
  
  
  In fact the web.xml file is in :
  
  C:\maven-2.0.2\projects\WebCalc1\target\WebCalc1-1.0\WEB-INF\classes\WEB-INF\web.xml
  
  
  Here is my archetype.xml :
  
  <archetype>
    <id>WebApp</id>
    <sources>
      <source>src/main/java/calculator.java</source>
    </sources>
    <testSources>
      <source>src/test/java/calculatorTest.java</source>
    </testSources>
    <resources>
      <resource>src/main/resources/index.jsp</resource>
      <resource>src/main/resources/WEB-INF/web.xml</resource>
    </resources>
  </archetype>
  
  
  Any help would be greatly appreciated !
