How can I clear all previous state of openwhisk and run it fresh all over again? I run the Openwhisk locally and when the connection is terminated and I open it again, all the environmental variables I set, are set back to default and I when I set then again they don't have any effect.

Can you clarify which values do you want to reset? You can delete `~/.openwhisk/standalone/` which is where some metadata gets stored.
