[Trinidad] Can't see any difference when setting stateSaving="client" on the tr:document element

Hi !

As I recently reported in a old thread ("[Trinidad] Nightly Builds?"), I
eventually took the time to deploy the official 1.2.14 build of Trinidad in
order to try the fix for TRINIDAD-1772 (Allow per page state saving
settings) <https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TRINIDAD-1772>, but I don't
see any change in the result...
I have added stateSaving="client" on the tr:document element of our login
page but I still can see something like <input type="hidden"
name="javax.faces.ViewState" value="!1"> in the generated HTML while, if I
set the javax.faces.STATE_SAVING_METHOD parameter to client in the
web.xmlfile, then I get some cryptic (and very long)
value for the hidden javax.faces.ViewState input field and I can properly
complete the log in process even though the page got fetched hours ago.

What am I doing wrong ?

By the way, the documentation at
http://myfaces.apache.org/trinidad/trinidad-api/tagdoc/tr_document.htmldoesn't
report the new
stateSaving attribute...

Thanks in advance for your answer,
          Yannis
