I mainly work on the train or in airports without Internet access, so I need offline documentation.
I tried to wget -r the couchdb wiki but I hit some kind of flood protection.
Apparently MoinMoin can sync between two instances if xmlrpc is enabled. It seems to be enabled but broken in the CouchDB wiki.
Please could you put the wiki pages into hg or git and offer a read-only clone or a downloadable tarball of the html versions of the pages?

Hi Chris,
why not take the "inofficial" version of the CochDB wiki (http://wiki.couchdb.couchdb.org/page/FrontPage), which is a CouchApp. Just replicate the database (http://couchdb.couchdb.org/wiki) to your local CouchDB.
The migration from MoinMoin to the CouchApp wiki was started by J. Chris. AFAIK, there are only a few minor issues that need to be fixed until the migration can be completed. Anyway, most of the content (if not all) seems yet to be available in the CouchApp version.

Try http://yourcouch/wiki/_design/pages/_show/page/FrontPage.
They're using vhosts combined with several rewrite rules, which may complicate that a bit. Here, having a look into the 'rewrites' field of the 'pages' design doc helps: http://couchdb.couchdb.org/_utils/document.html?wiki/_design/pages.
