Ambari version via REST

Hi All,
Is there any call to the rest api I can make which can deliver the current
version of Ambari? i.e. 1.5.0, 1.6.1 etc. I can obtain the HDP version ok
but not the Ambari version. I am currently resorting to an rpm query. 'rpm
-qa --queryformat \'%{version}\' ambari-server'

Thanks,
Dave

Hi Dave,

You can try http://localhost:8080/api/v1/services/AMBARI/components/AMBARI_SERVER

where the “component_version” field should get you what you need.
