Xerces-J dev svn repos migrated to git
Hi all,
As we were discussing a while ago, I've been successfully able to
migrate Xerces-J codebase from Apache Xerces-J svn repos to Apache
Xerces-J github repos.
The location of Xerces-J's latest codebase, on Apache github repos is
https://github.com/apache/xerces-j.
There are two Xerces-J codebase branches on the previously mentioned
github repos location. The git branch named 'main' corresponds to
Xerces-J svn trunk, and the git branch named 'xml-schema-1.1-dev'
corresponds to Xerces-J svn branch xml-schema-1.1-dev.
I believe that, going forward we may do all our Xerces-J dev
activities on Apache Xerces-J github repos.
Many thanks.

From my point of view we can now have pull requests on Xerces-J
GitHub. I think that, making a pull request signed should not be
mandatory.

I think that, it shall be ok if we add Xerces-J issues on JIRA as
usual. But discussions related to pull requests, can be done on
GitHub.
Surely, Xerces project chair, or other committers can suggest better
ways to do these tasks.

Hi Mukul,
That's great!
And are we now allowed to send pull requests? Do they need to be signed off?
Are we also allowed to add issues on the GitHub project or should we add
them as usual on the official JIRA Xerces project?

Radu
