Yes, if you're viewing PNGs in Chrome on, say, 150% HiDPI scaling, you need to have a 67% zoom level to ensure each pixel in the PNG is shown as a device pixel on your monitor. (On MacOS, retina scaling is always 200%, so 50% zoom is what would achieve this, I believe.)
