[Bug 64897] New: "PidFile" directive not allowed in
https://bz.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=64897
Bug ID: 64897
Summary: "PidFile" directive not allowed in <VirtualHost>
Product: Apache httpd-2
Version: 2.4.43
Hardware: PC
OS: Mac OS X 10.1
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: Documentation
Assignee: docs@httpd.apache.org
Reporter: zhoushulin1992@gmail.com
Target Milestone: ---
VirtualHost should not configure any "PidFile" directive, so it is better to
emphasize the valid scope when configuring directive "PidFile" in
http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.4/mod/mpm_common.html#pidfile.

Sorry, it is my omission. The current doc is adequate, so just leave it as-is
please.

Hi, same as bug 64887.
in fact, it is documented.
The context of this directive is "server config".
See http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.4/en/mod/directive-dict.html#Context
I think it is ok to leave it as-is.
What do you think?
