apertura secondo piano

Salve, quando apro Openoffice, che sia un file di testo o database, il PC viene più volte interrotto per il caricamento: come è possibile selezionare un caricamento in background (che non comprometta altre attività ad esempio se sto navigando nel browser o leggendo un PDF?)Grazie

We have no idea as we don't know what the configuration of your system 
is, how many other processes are running.
If you run MS Windows use the Task manager to see which application uses 
most of the resources.
