[jira] [Commented] (BIGTOP-3309) Missing build target for Debian 10
in BigTop 1.5
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BIGTOP-3309?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17050925#comment-17050925 ]
Kengo Seki commented on BIGTOP-3309:
------------------------------------
Thanks [~oflebbe] [~elukey], I finally started to configure Jenkins. Current status:
- Updated the configuration matrix for Docker-Puppet-Trunk. Removed fedora-26 and opensuse-42.3, and added centos-8, debian-10, fedora-31, and ubuntu-18.04 instead.
- Disable the aarch64 and ppc64le platforms for centos-8 on that job, using a combination filter.
As a result, all bigtop-puppet images are [successfully built and pushed into DockerHub|https://hub.docker.com/r/bigtop/puppet/tags?name=trunk], excluding the ones for ppc64le.
But I'm having the following troubles. [~oflebbe] May I ask for your help?
* Docker-Puppet-Trunk builds for ppc64le-slave [failed due to a disk shortage on docker-slave-ppc-2|https://ci.bigtop.apache.org/job/Docker-Puppet-Trunk/4/].
Can I clean that node via Jenkins, or do I have to log into it via ssh or something?
* I also tried to configure Docker-Toolchain-Trunk, but its configuration matrix doesn't seem to be editable, unlike Docker-Puppet-Trunk.
I was able to select items in the existing list, but I couldn't find the way to modify the list itself. How can I edit it?

> Hi!
> I am opening a Jira as follow up from the user@ mailing list. The 1.5.0 release targets list Debian 10 but as far as I can see packages are not build against it in the CI.
> Quoting Evans Ye:

> Firstly we need to make debian 10 supported and available on dockerhub: bigtop/puppet:trunk-debian-10. This started by adding the distro to bigtop/docker/bigtop-puppet/YOURDISTRO.
> Then, we can push the new image via CI and add new distro on the trunk package matrix as you mentioned.

> I am happy to help in testing or filing patches where needed! (Still learning BigTop so I am not an expert)
